my iphone - well, I can't say for certain if it is dead, but the backlight isn't working making it impossible to deal with.
Then for some reason - it erased my calendar and my contacts. Sad sigh. I dont' write anything down it all goes into the iphone. I'm so sad. My poor husband also had an iphone death. So sad. It makes me want to cry.
I'm lost without it - it makes me sad.........
sniff - off to continue mourning.

Maybe I am old school, but why wouldn't you write it in a calendar also??? This is the main reason why I don't use and electronic calendar.

If you get it up and working again, it might be a good idea to export the calendar to an online location. I think there is an app that does it automatically. Good luck.. hopefully there isn't too much damage!
Dang iPhone's. Mine is giving me trouble too.
Oh do I know what you are experiencing. My kids dropped my precious iphone on the pavement a while back. Spider webbed the entire glass screen. So I paid $150 to get another one (a 3g mind you) and about a month later it left it at a restaurant and someone walked away with it. My boss's wife had an old Edge which I paid $50 from her to get. But boy was I ever mourning the loss of my beloved iPhone!
